Well i dont know about the rest of you but i don't really want to play in the Europa League. I think it would be better to focus on the league. Thoughts?

Training ground for youth players, more experience for the manager in Europe, extra gate for the club, keeps our European rating high - look how Italy lost a CL spot thanks to that. No reason we can't focus on the league while still playing in Europe.

I have always been against Europa but I actually would be happy to qualify seeing how the boys are just digging in every game and winning the 3 points whether we play beautifully or not. According to their words in press conference's and interviews, they really want the competition. There are disadvantages as our squad is thin but hopefuly if we can bring in depth this summer I'm sure Kenny can make a perfect fit for all the games.

we can blood youngsters and any europe is better than no europe when trying to sign players. Fringe players can get a game to keep them match fit and happy.
I wouldnt want to see our first team wasting time in the first half of the campaign and losing focus from the league though

I just hope our perfromances improve in that competition. Watching us in the league, then in europe was like watching completely different teams but I trust kenny to the reds going on all fronts.

in an interview recently pepe reina made some interesting points about how the europa league has helped improve some of our young players. if you look at spearing and kelly they have come on quite a lot since featuring in the competition and danny wilson too.
can only help us develop our youngsters imo and we will always be one of the favourites to win it if we progress to the latter stages.

its a mixed bag. personally dont really want it if it going to have a bad effect on our form in the PL. it would be good for the youngster but dont want to see the likes of gerrard, suarez, carroll being injured or just over played. might bring them on say in the semis
this would be my team (this may chance depending on who we buy/sell)

Can only be a win - win situation.
Liverpool have always been a force in Europe , and will be under Kenny for years to come.

i guess that it is also good that we auto qualify if we finish 5th. That way we don't have play those 55 rounds against Shamrock Rovers.
