I tell you who will come the closet to that in a few years, our very own Suso. He has the passing range almost but has a couple more attributes like shooting and pace. That boy could become a first team regular if given the correct guidance.
For me the priority signings must be A left Back, Wingers, Centre Back, Creative Centre Midfield, then if possible a young up and coming striker such as Conor Wickham, or try and bring through Adam Morgan from the academy.
do we need a creative CM? if we get in a couple of wingers and because we'll mainly be playing 442 wouldn't it be better to continue with 2 hard workers who will protect the back 4 and put themselves about? also we have gerrard and as you said we have suso coming through there is shelvey as well so i wouldnt sign a CM this summer.our CM's next season gerrard, lucas, spearing, meireles, shelvey with coady, suso and adorjan all looking like good youngsters and could do a job as cover it ain't that bad tbf
