i would go for robben. especially on a season long loan. has pace, power, knows where the net is and has prem experience. there aren't many options around are there?

If anyone is going to come in then it will be a loan deal only as Rafa can only spend money on wages. Real Madrid have got a shopful of players who will be twiddling their thumbs all season if they are not in the 25 man squad, so the rumours will be coming in thick & fast over the next few days.

rafa has done nothing all summer , he could have sold dossenna,voronin,babel,lucas,agger,kuyt get rid of all and actually build a team with attacking intent and danger ,instead he does nothing .. sack the man its the only way And remember Emp, the more he sells, the more money the Yanks take 4 themself.

yhea yhea its all the yanks fault. rafa needs an unlimited budget to compete a bit like the city one. that way he can buy good players like keane and make them look crap ,he can get in strikers like kuyt and turn them into hard working skill-less wingers. rafa's net spend is fact fact fact ,he needs to buy babel for 11m and lucas for 7 oh ,he already has,well then he needs 20m for a striker and 8m for a left back. oh he's had that too. well then he just needs loads of money end of, else he is gonna play liverpool like crap agree with comments about kuyt atleast..we got dumb players like bellamy,penant,all craps...why did we spend a penny even on such.Probably Rafa didnt have the powers for transfers and Parry was influential in that,i think whoever responsible but we wasted a lot lot money for crap below average players,who shouldnt be even in Liverpool Reserves,,,gutted

All I can say is that this whole stuation is having effects everywhere , on RAWK everyone is scrapping with each other , swearing and cussing eachother , so if the fans are feeling frustrated and angry at the present state of our club and its leadership/dealings , god knowss what the players are feeling like .
I will be very suprised if we get anyone else before the window closes , also the weight of expectation that will be placed on Aquilini`s shoulders will either freak him out or make him the ultimate signing of the decade !!!
God lets all hope this is sorted out quick whilst we still have some club left and before the CL starts. spot on mate

Robben would be a great signing, but I doubt it will happen.
Emp I do like your ideals, there are pretty funny, but you haven't tkaen into account life after Rafa (I know he has his faults). You do realise that if Rafa was to go a mass exodous of players would follow. At Least Torres (the main reason he joined was cos of rafa), Reina, and probably Gerrard (main reason he's stayed is cos of Rafa) Liverpools 3 best players, then what mid table medicoreness...think it through!
