Pacey full backs who can vitaly defender and know when to attack, one commanding cb in Vidic who can score and all round centre back with pace in Pepe.
Alonso for me is best in defensive midfielder soley because he never moves frrom that area and is such a good standing tackler and his quality of passing has to be taken into account when comparing him with say De Jong.
Eto'o for me is the worlds best striker at this moment in time, he may not be free scoring like Ronaldo or Messi but he's never ever dipped in form over the past 7 years he always gets 20+ goals a season, has pace, skill and brillant finishing technique and movement.

Only player I'm not happy about is Sneider woulod prefer a Gerrard type or Essien type but both not playing well.
