i like augero but i havent seen enough to suggest his a £35m - £40m player. forget how much it would take to get him but WHAT IS HE WORTH?

I was just about to say he increased his buyout clause when he signed a new contract last year, are you sure he's decreased it? yeah he decreased it to help his chances of leaving. at. madrid had to agree because that the only way he'd agree a new deal. im pretty sure thats what happened, he wants to go to real

Whilst Aguero is a fantastic talent and certainly a 30 mill player, I can't help but feel he would be wrong for us, if we are playing 442 we need 2 wingers, and if we choose to play 433 then id still like a winger on the opposite side to suarez to better compliment Carrol

Aguero should not be on our transfer list considering he is valued at 40m is pathetic. 40m for what? What has he done to warrant that besides being a great talent? We need another striker but we need a 5m striker and not a 40m striker. We need to strengthen and we shouldn't worry about a striker for now. Infact I feel it is not until next january that we will buy another striker because summer is going to be focused on filling those holes we have and the striker position is certainly isn't one of those holes.

Agreed that we don't need another striker, did say that in my post. But the thing that makes you warrant a hefty price tag is being a great talent surely. What would you rather base it on? Looks? Fashion sense? I'd rather pay big money for talent than big money for something stupid, for example where they a born (35 mill for andy carrol for example).

What I meant is he is not a fully established star just yet. For 40m I would certainly buy an established star like David Villa or Carlos Tevez but thats just an example.

What I meant is he is not a fully established star just yet. For 40m I would certainly buy an established star like David Villa or Carlos Tevez but thats just an example. He's averaged 20 goals a season for the last 4 or 5 years and already has a better strike rate for Argentina than carlos tevez. If that doesn't qualify him for being a fully established star I don't know what does!

A more over-rated player I have yet to see in my whole life. agree with that. most of the english players are soo over rated. i cant see what the fuss is abt rooney and the world class tag he gets. wallcott, ferdinad, j cole are just a few more over hyped players
