Watching it now n looking for positives......we created chances - Lucas was unlucky , Gerrard was off his game , maybe distracted by the media interest. But there were some positives , even in my biased opinion.3 goals from 3 set pieces - hard to swallow.
BUT we aint got any $ and I don't know how long Rafa's gonna accept that for.

our midfield with xabi in it class, our midfield without him crap can't pass a ball He was absolutely fantastic last season, no doubt about that. But the two seasons before that he was no were near the form of 08/09... People seem to forget that there was a reason for Rafa wanting to replace him with Barry...

I did told you here on this forum that the team we have NOW WILL NOT WIN anything. Voronin, Ngog, Babbel, come on m8s. i prefer someone like pacheco in place of voronin, riera in place of babel for instance. Skertel is anotr player who is committing a number of unnecessary fouls. From defence to attack we are NIL. At the back only Johnson seems to me world class, other are struggling, are they feeling tired after the Asian tour???? dont think so , they were rested most of the time. So, sad as it is and very very sad indeed, if we keep this team FORGET THE LEAGUE!!As for Yanks, better not tell anything, they make us vomit blood!!!
