well thompson has said that the deal is done and dusted for 15 mil.here is wat he said,“From what I’ve heard, yes the deal has been done and he will come to Liverpool,”

“It’ll be interesting because he’s done very well. He had a difficult first season coming into the Premiership a couple of years ago but he really understands the game now.”

“He’s one of those full backs who is good going forward but he’s also a good defender and I think that is the main thing.”

is he worth 15 mil? i remember reading about his value being as low as 6 but i know nothing about the guy...

WTF what is the world coming to? I would presume we'd be able to get a world class LB at 15m.

And that begs the question - is enrique world class???

i actually enrique could be one day if he did sign for us then he'd probably get into the spain squad i like the signing but 15 mil is very steep

Very angry if thats the price tag we're throwing at a midtable LB. Very dispointing considering another few mil and we can bag that coantrao fella or someone else. 5M-10M is acceptable considering he has PL experience but seroiusly we don't want another Konchesky. Im very worried of that price tag.

Coenteao should be our main lb target not Enrique

Honestly, it is one step forward, 10 steps back. Like we were with Carrol we will be a joke if we spend 15 mill on Enrique. that would be 50 mill we would have given to newcastle for players worth no more than a combined 30 million. 50 mill is half of what mike ashley valued the club at ffs! If its a difference between 15 mill for enrique and 20 mill for contrao why are we not spending the extra 5 mill to get a left back whos easily 3 times better! I will honestly feel ashamed if we spend 15 mill on enrique
