Put Lucas, Americans etc aside. I'd give my life to play for Liverpool. To wear that shirt. Players need to take a look at themselves. It took a young kid in Insua to show some fight and bottle in setting up the goal.Where were our so called senior players.So disappointed/

True...they definately need to start showing some heart..
I don't expect Lucas or Babel to be the difference in these kind of games but where were Gerrard and Torres? Ok, Torres did score but for the rest of the game he just complained about the ref and everything else and as soon as he got the ball he just look uninspired and clumsy....

got to admit it... Our Captain was poor... Like i said, something was missing in our senior players that night.. there's no passion, no fire...

I think the problem is that some of these players go into a game (a little unintentionally) thinking it will be an easy game and get caught out! That's why some of the kids deserve to get a go...Look at the way the player got aup last season against Manure when the some of the big names didn't play. They played out of their skins and got one of our best results in recent times....The seniors players defo need to stand up on ALL occassions.

Agree there was no heart against Villa. The only time Gerrard showed any desparation was when he slid in for the penalty. Hopefully Rafa gave them a righ bollocking adn they come out with some fire on Saturday.
