Alonso won't return, cause we wouldn't spend 15 mill plus on him, and as he has been tidy for Madrid, don't need to sell him for anything less than that. Adam is being massively over rated by some people on here, but conversely he is a good player who would improve our first 11 I don't know why people think otherwise. It all comes down to the price for me; anything above 9 mill and we would be better shelling out a few million more for someone across the pond as they will be younger, have re-sale value, a future that lasts longer than a couple of seasons at best, and will be able to actually run unlike adam.
And just quickly:
We've got Aqua coming back or at least someone buying him for a cool 15-18mil. We could go for Adam, for half and still have some left over.
If we get 18 mill for aqua, whom we spent 17 mill on, after he was [oops] for us (for whatever reason) and just above average for Juve (despite what some people who have seen Duncs youtube footage of him seem to think) I will give u my signed Gerrard Liverpool shirt. At the very best we will get 14 as Juve have agreed that previously, we will get less if anyone else buys him, and this 'Adam for half the value of aqua' bussiness is nonsense. Adam's performances is by all accounts leading him to a pfa player of the year nomination in the English PL and Aqua has, as I've said, been just about above average for Juve in the Italian Serie A. In what universe do you think we will pick up Adam for half of what we sell Aqua for?
