the point here made is good....
i would really like one or more youngster to step up like kelly...
has been more talk about the flagan player..may be now he might get into the team now or main players are injured...
but would definatly like to see players like pacheco...
come on the guy won golden boot...he must have had somthing.....

lets just get this right....pacheco is not waiting for his debut...he's played a few times, albeit short appearances but the lad as shown nothing in them 1st team games. if ya think im being harsh just think back to stevies 1st merseyside derby or fowlers league cup debut, owens 1st game away at wimbledon i think.... what im trying to say is these lads shone when giving there chance and even the dumb footy fans could see the quality and they had the same pressure on them, as everyone had heard about their potential...
im not saying the lad is crap but being on loan will do him good. he's played under 3 managers now and none of them as put faith in him to be a 1st teamer....so just because he's doing well in the league below dont mean he can play top level. look at adam hammail, was a good youngster went to barnsley did well. got a move to wolves and he is not running the game and getting the credit he was in the lower league....

Heck, just compare his performances in a red shirt against those of Kelly. Different class, yes? That's why he's on loan and Kelly is in the first XI.

surely if this guy was good enough he'd be in the 1st team???
you'd swear we'd never seen fowler, mcmannaman or owen and don't know real talent when it's staring us in the face ... i'm sorry if this guy was as good as the hype he'd be 1st choice Well said. I was on another forum a while back and got banned for suggesting that Pacheco wasn't as good as some people hope that he is. My argument is that neither Benitez, Hodgson or Dalglish have given him more than a few minutes here and there and with their experience and regularly working up close with him, they are probably in a better position that us to decide if he's up to the job. The fact that he's now with norwich kind of answers the question as to whether pacheco is good enough for LFC... If Pacheco can't get a game ahead of spearing or maxi then I hope he stays at Norwich!

Fine. I accept Dani is not good enough and will be happy to watch Joe Cole this weekend. Maybe we could play Jovanovic he is awesome too! OR wait for it ..... lets play Poulsen because he has set the world on fire with his performances what a signing!
lets keep it real boys ... no one is saying that he is going to bang in goal after goal but i know who i'd rather watch. It aint the players i mentioned above. ... And Ceb you make some valid points saying 3 managers have over looked him .... fair but one (benitez) had a fairly good initial squad and Dani was only 18-19, Roy ... well feck do i even need to go there. Now He's 20 its make or break for his lfc career, chuck him in sink or swim!
