I know everybodies saying that young is heading for united but where is he going to fit into that team? Don't they already have Nani and Valencia?

mental mate. your prices are too low for ins and too high for outs. Also 2 or 3 of them arent even realistic targets for a 6th place PL team.

i think liverpools is big enough club to attract players like saurez and carroll + if u look at the form table after kenny came in it has been fantastic....

so i don't see areason why these players won't come..now about the prices...young's contract is almost done so is adams, contrao wants to leave so i think those are the reasonable prices!

adam and young will go the mancs, they will be more appealing to them than us. plus that's the only sort of player the mancs can afford unless Rooney leaves....im afraid we've got these sort of seasons for a couple more years at least...

lets be honest who would actually pay £5m for jovanovic he is worth about £2m. id let him leave on a free he's that crap and same goes for poulsen, maxi and konchesky £2m each max. nobody pays good money for mediocre old players that are performing badly.

only young / english players that command bigger fees. jarvis for instance would cost about 10-18 mil imo. even though i personally don't think he is worth that kind of money or good enough to play for us and i don't think mick mccarthy would be in any situation to sell him unless they were relegated. he's recently signed a new contract.

although the greek has put in some of his best performances for us this season i still think his clumsiness is a liability that has cost us and as the season draws to a close its becoming more evident how much we need a quality centre half. gary cahill for me fits the bill perfectly even though he would command a massive fee he is an excellent player and just what we need. i know we also need width but all good sides are solid at the back.

the squad needs heavy investment for the starting 11. maybe theres around an extra £20m made available if aqualani and the rest of the deadwood are offloaded. lets get rid of the shiite and let the kids provide a bit of back up. the sooner they break into the side the better. some won't make it but theres got to be a handful of players that will thrive on playing a part in the first team.

And what was Alonso, if not a Lucas who can pass it well? Someone who can pass it is exactly what we need.

what about in general play? he doesn't read the game at all he positional sense is awful and he isn't fit enough, also 11 yellow cards this season. i bet most of them were because he was out of position so he had to foul the player to make up for his mistake, no thanks. all that is not worth the odd free good kick. who would rather have beckham or scholes?
