think we will continue with the system we played at the stadium of light against sunderland.

with carroll and hopefully suarez fit it should be a 4-4-2 with the 2 holding midfielders and the other 4 bombing on

think it would be a good idea to play gerrard deeper now at least until he finds some form and fitness. maybe give the likes of spearing a chance seen as he's played well and make gerrard work hard to earn his place.

its possible for us to make fourth but we'd need other results to go our way. just hope we keep fighting even 5th would be a great achievement after the 1st half of the season

Very possible to win them games, we just can not afford any more slip ups. If we get close in say the next 3 games it will give us some momentum to finish off the league strong. I get the feeling there are good times ahead, amazing listening to kenny yesterday about carroll. Took the comments about drinking off the agenda before they started. Really liked the one about he hasn't bought me a pint yet!!!

Massive game this saturday, surely we will be up for it and play the good football we have coem to play under Kenny. We need this win at the weekend, but this is a game that we could easily slip up in. Then of course City after that, they are in free fall at the moment, hopefully they still will be by the time we play them.

COME ON THE RED MEN GIVE US THOSE SIX POINTS.

There is a danger that we might take our eye off the WBA game tomorrow, what with the City, Arsenal and Spurs games uppermost in the minds of fans and players alike! I just hope...and trust Kenny, with all his experience, will keep the team focused on tomorrows match!...lose tomorrow and we can forget about it, I think! Win tomorrow and we have momentum and the pressure building on the others! Getting really exited here now!!!

4-4-2 a bit too porous against the likes of Arsenal. 3-5-2 would see us having a better chance of dominating midfield and the 2 holding, when needed, can fall back into defence quickly and form up a 5 man defence. We will be able to both attack and defend well. Arsenal seem to have lost some fluency in passing and I don't know if van persie will start. Kenny is probably working on some set pieces around Carroll. That said, this team with the likes of Carroll and Suarez and the brilliant footballing mind of Mr. Dalglish, we really should fear no one.

I don't think Kenny will let them think as far ahead as the City game, never mind the Spurs game (second last of the season). I reckon despite whatever respect the players may have for Hodgson, I think they all have a personal point to prove by going out there and giving his new side a good hiding away from Anfield. It erases everything - Hodgson's "No one could do better with this squad", Hodgson's losing formula away from home, Hodgson's dislike of Agger and positional ineptitude regarding Meireles, and I'll bet the travelling Kop will have a few barbs of their own ("Look at us now, Roy"). Also, it's West Brom, who haven't scored against us in ages and haven't kept a clean sheet since week 2, so we should have a lot of confidence - it's up to Kenny to stop that becoming overconfidence, and then just letting us play our natural game. It won't be enough to just arrive for the game, but outside one or two players who have actually performed quite well under Roy I can't see them mustering too much of a threat if we go into the game with the right attitude.
