Adam Johnson would be such a good signing, not sure if it has any real legs in it though as he is a top english prospect. Having said that, city seem to be in for Alexis Sanchez, if they get him and don't sell, and bearing in mind they play one up front with to wingers in a 3, they will have dzeko who they are currently playing wide, balotelli who has played wide a few times, silva, wright-phillips, milner, and probably some others I'm forgetting, he is not going to be first choice, so maybe he will want to leave? I think Liverpool could be a good move for him as well, and for england in the sense of him in front of glen johnson and crossing for carrol.

Signing Young and Adam Johnson could be very interesting, as it would link England's future with LFC. I'm sure they're selling that idea to the players, especially since we already have Gerrard, Glen Johnson, Carroll, and Kelly as regular first XI players.

I cant see city selling Johnson to us, even if they get Sanchez, which I hope they dont. They can afford to have Johnson on the pay role and not play him.

Cannot see Adam johnson content to sit on the bench, and with fair play and that coming in I don't think it's impossible they will want to get him off the books if they aren't playing him

yes but i don't think he's willing to sit on the bench that much longer. he's probably ready to move on if the situation doesn't change.

Skysports.com understands Liverpool are lining up a summer swoop for England new boy and Wolves winger Matt Jarvis.

Jarvis, who was rewarded for his fine form this season with his first cap for England in the midweek draw with Ghana, is thought to be on Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish's wanted list.

Dalglish is keen to bring in some much-needed width to the squad next season and he sees Jarvis as the man who could provide the ammunition for the new-look strikeforce of Andy Carroll and Luis Suarez.

A number of other Premier League clubs are thought to be tracking Jarvis ahead of this summer's transfer window, but Liverpool are hoping to steal a march on their rivals as they weigh up a move for the former Gillingham man.

The 24-year-old would fit Liverpool's idea of bringing in young emerging players for the future and Dalglish is understood to be keen to add a British element to his squad for next season.

Wolves would be loathe to lose Jarvis, but they could face a battle to keep hold of the pacy winger if they fail to secure their Premier League status.

Subject: Re: summer transfer window rumors and targets!

For me, we should be targeting these positions in this order:

- wingers
- a left back
- Creative Midfielder
- if possible another young up and coming striker

Unless Pepe has already told Kenny he wants to go then we get straight on a keeper search

Totally agree, Luis Right Boot, And I'd follow that with a C B, and thats 6 players shows how far off the pace we have strayed! Big sale and lots of cash urgently required?
