We once had the Keiser way bck when. Houllier and Benitez used him with amazing efficiency. Is there anyone today even close to Didi in his prime?

Yes we had Masch afterwards and yes he was a very good defensive midfielder, faster then Didi but imo not close to the player that Didi was. Now we have Lucas to fill that role... don't get me wrong Lucas has improved but that's just it. He is not Hamann or will never come close to the player he was.

dont mention, Didi....


im still gutted he isnt here. id put him up there with hyypia.

also the stories about what happened after we won the CL elevated him into legendary status for me.

no one like him. done his job perfectly well and chipped in with a wonder goal every now and then.

he went out drinking with Carra (there were others but i cant remember)

he ended up being chased by police all night eventually finding a taxi that took him to the hotel while everyone else was having brekkie the next morning.
