The Argentine left-back currently plays for Ruban Kazan in the russian league. There are currently a number of top european clubs keeping an eye on the 24 year old including Chelsea & Man City. His agent has claimed "There has been some informal market interest from Liverpool and Atletico Madrid. As for Milan, there were only indirect contacts with other agents.

"He can play both on the right and left side and I think he pays for the fact he plays in Russia, otherwise he would be in the national team.

"His contract with Rubin Kazan expires in December 2012 and he has no buy-out clause. Cristian wants to go away.What do you guys think???

i was about to say that, why not just put it in the transfer threads?

Great thread! It's pretty hard to create 3 threads a day about things that are relevant to LFC, especially during an international break, and this thread is a staggering example of why. From the post itself I don't even know which of the players in that photo is supposedly linked with us, nor do I know his full name. Well done that man. I think you're all been a bit harsh.

The original post should be clearer worded etc but individual topics per transfer link are much better in my opinion and easier to follow than trawling through a topics that's page and pages long.
