i've been saying it for over a year now about lucas. shocking to think Liverpool have a player as inferior & lacking in every department as that in central mid. Paisley, Shanks et al spinning in their graves...

Starting to get some very bad vibes when i think about this season. A top 4 spot will be very hard to reach if this goes on (and it hurts to talk about top 4 when we should talk about the title) and if we miss out on a CL spot it won't take long before the yank [oops] sell Torres.
The team played badly today and Rafa makes some strange decisions but the main problem is that the yanks still runs the club. We will never be able to compete on the transfer market and as we've seen this summer, we have sold players for more money than we have spent on new ones.
How on earth are we going to win the league with Babel, Lucas, Dossena and Voronin in the team?

i duno anymore, Yanks, Lucas, or a team that just got no heart?? i think that lucas is going get lambasted, he should be sold before the window closes.

Lucas is a scapegoat, not good enough yes but not as black as he is painted, the man next to him cost nearly 20 million pound and is no better but because some druggie made him captain of his country nobody will have a bad word said about him.

Sell Lucas? For what? To whom?
This'll make no difference 'cept deprive the club of a useful squad player. We'd get no money for him at present.
I say move Gerrard back into midfield but prefer to play Yossi (alongside Torres) to Kuyt, who to me (Kuyt) isn't really good enough in any position. I know he works hard (Kuyt) but that hardly satisfies all the prerequisites to feature in a contending team.

i have to agree ted - gerrard has been consistently bad this season - every pass he hits is going astray ...... i think its time he took a break and cleared his head if it's the trial that's causing his problems .... though i do wonder if the bigheaded [oops] is just starting to believe his own hype again!
riera needs to come back to provide some width as our only width otherwise comes from the full backs
