It would be sweet, sweet justice. I would love nothing more than to re-establish the old "top 4" at the end of this, our most disrupted season probably ever, when we've been outrageously mismanaged and outspent. To do it I think Dalglish will need to have us scoring points at a per game rate faster than whoever wins the title (their rate taken as an average over the season, Kenny's rate taken since he started), which would put sharply into perspective player and manager performance over the past 18 months. As fans we've said repeatedly that we are no worse than top 6 material despite finishing 7th last season (some persisting with "top 4" whispers), but our detractors would have us think 'Rafa's squad' was not worth a top 10 place. I hope they have hats on hand ready to eat if Kenny puts us back where we belong, having taken over a side in a complete shambles with no visible morale, and having only 5 months to work his magic.
