Firstly this is boring. Second Torres is world class and still is. He is going through the same thing many strikers do when they go to a new club sometimes just nothing will go right then when they get the first goal the floodgates open. In fact Andy Carroll is having a similar time with us. He should have got two goals today but I am sure it will come right for him. Those having a pop at Torres are not true LFC fans or football fans. Don't forget we got some good times out of him and £30m profit not a bad deal. I fear though we have wasted some of the £30m by overpaying for Carroll no way is he worth £35m good though he is.

No one noticed how Torres's new 'team mates' never pass the ball to him? I thought he was Chelsea's best forward vs City, and every time he was in space within striking range the ball carrier went for glory rather than laying it off to him. Unless Ancellotti fixes this he won't score this season, and it doesn't look like the manager is even trying to address it. But that's what you get when you join a club that's all about ego - just ask the people at Real Madrid, the elephant graveyard of footballing talent.

Really? Seeing as Arsenal are falling apart as usual, who would you prefer to lift the EPL trophy at the end of this season: Torres or Fergie?

Been trying to avoid these stupid threads but they just keep popping so you get tempted. Torres is no longer part of liverpool so I don't really care about his achievements with another team, I watch many EPL games including the yesterdays chelsea vs city and whenever I see torres, there is no feeling towards him because now i consider him as another epl player with another team. I wish him well for his new club but god has blessed us with suarez who is much much better player. Lets stop the torres threads please.

couldn't agree more. chelsea are such a shooting team lampard malouda even essien are always want to score and never assist anyone kalou is the only one who is capable of passing instead of shooting
