How important is Agger? Here's an interesting stat I read today: "In the last six games without him, the Reds have won only once; in the last six games with him, the Reds have won all six, and not conceded a goal".

I think we looked far better with Agger back in there at the weekend. When he does have to hit long it is at least an attempt at a pass rather than an aimless punt.

Someone mention Wilson earlier, I thought he had a decent game against Braga the other night and I question the people who are writing him off after a cpl of games in a position he is not used to playing in. How good does Carra look at right back ?????

I also don't understand the dismissal of Wilson. Against West Ham he was exposed as a CB (their second goal was mostly his mistake as he fluffed a simple header, though Carra and Skrtel both failed utterly to cover for him), but when he was moved to LB after Kelly went off I thought he looked decent, particularly given his age and lack of experience. He seemed comfortable on the ball and was solid enough in defense. I think he looks a decent prospect, and Kenny keeps picking him so he's doing something right in training (unlike another player of ours who will soon be at Norwich).

Agger everytime for me, on paper it did look like the perfect combination:

Agger, quality defender, who can bring the ball out of defence and pick a pass.

Skrtel, tough, aggressive, strong battling defender, takes no prisoners and looks mean as foook.

But of course they both have there problems, Skrtels a bit reckless and lack of form

Agger injury prone
