Recession also meens that construction companies fight for contracts , also prices of steel fall and materials fall , good deals can be brokered in a recession , so the fat American tw-ts should start negotiating for steel and contracts now , before the turn around comes !!!!!
Oh buy the way , PEE OF YANKS , GO HOME , YOUR NOT WANTED !!!! you still need to borrow money in the first place, and now is not a good time to be borrowing vast amounts of money with the economy so unstable. At the moment our dept is managable if we got stadium money loans wrong at this time it could wipe us out completely, thats the margins where talking about at present in the current financial climate.

Emp, Real Madrid loan their money from the two biggest banks in spain. unfortunately, i work for one of them & the size of their overdraft is 3 or 4 times our debt. but they can afford it based on the funds they bring in.

This is my first post on here , I was banned from rawk , still dont know why !!
These two hardnosed American arses won`t give a toss , why ? BECAUSE THEY KNOW WE LOVE OUR BELOVED CLUB AND ITS PLAYERS , we will still go and support them come what may , I cannot go as I am disabled , I like everyone else searches the internet every hour looking for the faintest of hope of some small peice of sunlight in this dark tunnel called `Guardianship` . So many people have seen this heard that knows someone , but who actually does ???
Sadly untill the day comes and the spade is actually in the ground, we will all carry on `doin the lottery`
Please please please will someone tell us some good hard evidential good news i have to agree here Sheikh Mohammad only wants the best look at the the Godolphin Horse Racing Setup we need these ppl to buy but hicks and gilette have to be ousted and the only way to do taht is to boycott the club which no die hard red will do cos we love the club so much Parry and Moores should be burned at the stake for selling to the americans

Well it works 4 the other big clubs, why can't we benefit from rich owners/investers, as long as we buy the right players built our stadium, and win the league that's all that matters, cause as was previously said, to club owners it's just a business, they want a return on their investment, it's a win, win situation.

I think you are all missing the point. If DIC or any other UAE sugar sheikh were to be insistent on taking us over (please, please, please!) it would have happened by now. All they had to do was offer a little bit more to the yanks when they were struggling to re-finance the loan a few months ago. They have done it now and have a stronger bargaining positioning. 2 possibilities therefore - 1. Yanks don't want to sell and won't unless for stupid money (not offered) or 2. DIC etc. don't really want us. I'm afraid we are stuck with the penniless useless yanks. I fear Leeds....
