I think the choice of Kenny vs anyone is easy for most LFC fans; Kenny all the way. We need someone we can trust at the helm, and the way he's picked this team up and got the fans back onside is exactly the tonic we needed.
But is the man for a 5 year contract? That's a tougher question. 2 years - absolutely. I don't think there is any other manager on the planet who can return to the squad just what it means to play for LFC, who can instill the hunger and the pride that should come with the shirt. But once he's done that he may prove unable to dominate the league or European competition tactically with this squad of misfits and wasted talent.
So the quest really is, who should replace Kenny for 2013/2014? Mourinho? Rangnick? Villas Boas?
[I'm still plugging for VB, btw]
