i seen a thread talking about whether we should be looking to win the EL or not, but before we can discuss the pros and cons of this sh!t competition we need to get past a braga team who are well organised, with some very good blah blah blah players i think we should try and recreate the utd team and performance i know, no gerrard and no suarez going to be difficult but here's my go

carroll coming on at half time or after about an hour depending on the score, .... * not bothered who partners carra as they are both pretty sh!t, not to bothered who partners kuyt either as long as someone does i'd go pacheco because he can drop off and link up with maxi and raul like suarez did against utd. i know these players are nowhere near the as good as suarez and gerrard but we can't be playing boring sh!t football in the EL anymore with cr@p formations like 451 or heaven forbid 352

Sub out whichever of Maxi and Cole are having a bad day for Carroll around 55-60 mins. I would far prefer to see Wilson at LB than Carra at RB, but we need someone to captain the side.

We are behind in this tie so I expect to see carrol starting, he should be fully fit by now.

i dont think id like carroll without gerrard and suarez 'cause we'd just being playing long balls up to him all game

Agrred House, we started stoke'ing it straight away when he came on. Also why has op put pacheco in starting line up...trying to overturn a deficit against a very tidy side and you have put someone who has done naf all in 3 years of being on the edge of the team up front? I cannot quite get my head round this. I think people just keep popping him in there cause someone has told them to be excited about him.

pacheco in the starting line-up is because carroll isn't ready and suarez can't play so that leaves us with ngog, pacheco, kuyt and jovanovic as our available forwards to start the game and pacheco is my personally favourite of the 3 to partner kuyt and also i hate it when we play 451 so i'd rather have an unproven player in the team than play 451. (and in response to the comment in bold) braga dont have anything to fear at all, we couldn't have played worse in the first leg and i dont remember us ever defending for our lives they are average at best

Poulson and Skrtel don't need to be near the field.
Lucas and Raul in the middle, cole and maxi either side with Kuyt and Carroll up front.Be nice to see Pachecho but he is unavailable from a severe case of splinters, the club have got him a cushioned seat for remainder of the season so should recover for next season and another stint on the sideleine!!

There's more chance of me banging Kate Moss on Thursday than Pacheco starting.

Ok Murph & Deakin, maybe we should start Kate moss up front with Carrroll. That way we might get some players pushing up instead of booting it up from standing positions!!
