Funny how the old fart blanks the media, then when he wants to slate someone he uses them again to get his message out.
The day the FA call him on not honouring his commitment to the press and to Sky as manager of an EPL club is the day that people truly appreciate that Fergie's United is on the decline, perhaps have even passed the point of no return. I've been expecting the holes in his club to begin opening up since the day they sold Ronaldo and didn't replace him, and though they won the title that season and may hold out for no 19 this season, it's clear that the gulf that existed between Man U and the rest of the league has vanished. Fergie's personal magic is wearing off.
I expect LFC to be back in the "contender" stakes within 2 seasons, Arsenal are nearly clear of their stadium debt, while Abrahamovic and Man City continue to have deep pockets. I won't be surprised to see Man U drop outside the top 3 next season or the one after, and struggle to return. I also won't be surprised to see Fergie retire the moment the mountain becomes too high to climb.
