There is still nobody been given the famous 7 jersey... Will a big signing be made (personally i can't see it happen)??? If not is there anybody in the current squad that deserves it???? Maybe someone like Kuyt????, Or is it now seen as a poisonous chalice that nobody wants because the last 3 or 4 who wore that number never did very well for the club (Keane, Kewell,Smicher).. If so why not give it to a younger player coming threw. What does everybody think

you are right but for me the best number 7 shirt is reserved only for David Villa no one deserve that shirt better than him he is the sole owner of that shirt mate......

why are we so obsessed with new signings?

our teams seems fine as it is. if there will be any additional signings, it would be better. but if not, we must focus on the squad we have right now.

remember that Riera, Agger, El zhar, and Aurelio are not 100% fit yet. all of these players have made the difference in many matches last season. they might not be world beaters, but they have offered so much options (especially el Zhar).

also, we have yet to see the effectiveness of Aquilani in CM.

we're not buying anyone even close to the financial value of villa or silva. anyone with any kind of understanding of the finances of our club would realise that.
