With Kenny back i can see him going for british over any of commoli's french targets (or wengers rejects)

id like :

Scott Dann / Gary Cahill / Shawcross
Mark Noble / Charlie Adam / Scott Parker
Ashley Young
Matt Jarvis
Connor Wickham / Junior Stanislas

is there anyone else?

im gonna get slaughtered for some of these suggestions but they're the ones i like.

I don't know that Kenny will pick "British" more than he will pick "proven in the EPL".

I would slaughter you for all your suggestions bar Young and Wickham.
Young seems a very good option considering the possible England connection with him Gerrard and Carroll, and can play both falnks and behind striker.
Wickham on the other hand I don't think is needed when you consider we have Andy Carroll possibley for the next 6-8 years.
Parker would be a good option but I don't think he has the quality required to add world class appeal to our midfield Alonso Macherano esk. I just feel Parker would be of similar quality to Lucas at his best, whereas we need a world wide recongised player who can eithier become world class or is world class already.
Me personaly I think we need maybe one more english player and the rest can all be foreign as we have a lot or even too many youth players coming through

I agree one or 2 more top class english lads and bring the rest in from abroad as they tend to be a bit cheaper and it's nice to have lots if different nationalities and it helps with revenue aswell as you may reach countrys we don't already reach as in no players from there. The two British lads I would like to see are Cahill and young they would add quality where we need it.

Adam ain't british, good player and would have him though
Phil Jones is a nice shout for defence
A.Young defo is a superb player
Jarvis can be a useful option as well, though we gonna have get rid of Maxi & Jovanovic first

Yes but he isn't realistic we have no chance of getting Johnson as city won't sell him especially to a rival club and no young hasn't been outstanding but I believe he will be a class player for a better club than villa who aren't great and have no targets up front we have carroll who can bring him into play a lot more and young suarez carroll could be quality as a front 3

Junior Stanlias, Connor Wickham, never will happen but Jack Rodwell, Ashley Young, Charlie Adam, Aaron Ramsey and Cahill
