An example of this is when he said the playing squad is over staffed then a few months later saying that the squad is very thin.

I do remember emp and a few others saying we are mid table team now due to the squad rafa had left and that challenging for fourth is a few years away due to the massive overhaul needed to get the squad competing again. Their opinions where based on what a current manager was doing with a previous managers squad, but wernt looking at the bigger picture that it was his doing that we where under performing so much.

Ask yourself this question, are Liverpool doing better now because of the squad left to him by Woy? Or because we've got a better manager that the players believe in?

All I can say on that is if the right appointment would of been made we would probably be in a champions league place at the moment.

We where in a relegation battle with a rafa benitez squad, with that same squad now, where 6th and could if results go are way and we carry on with our good form we've had recently might be in with a shout for 4th. And that's with a squad that's still rafas but with a manager who ha got the team playing to it potential.
