I know we've only won one game but it's a game that we drew last season so effectively we are ahead of where we were last season.
How bad are we really...hose of you who went crazy after the first game loss, called for sackings and said season over have disappeared!! Hopefully you are re-assessing and thinking a little more positive now.
Long may this form continue for the remainder of the season

Liverpool has 11 good players. We are talkng of injuries here. I dont expect Ryan Babbel to win us the league or for that matter Lucas.

Lucas played ok yesterday only because Stoke played defensively.

We need signings and cover. Thats why we slate, but we slate not the team but the owners.

Lets start focussing on Villa, if we slip up this victory would be worthless, the fact that Villa are playing in Vienna tonigt might be of some benefit to us:)

I think we're going to see a steady improvement in Lucas this season tbh. He's already looking loads better than over the past 2 seasons.

great result last night! good to have bounced back with 4 goals and a clean sheet! Johnson is looking the bee's knees and Benni was everywhere and gave more width than Babel last Sunday. Let's hope this form can now be continued and we can go on a run!

As for Slaters - I'm one of them but only in surname :P

Oh and how I laughed at the mancs!!! Owen missed a sitter and they missed a penalty! happy days

yeah Lucas looks like he is improving,his movement and passes were of a higher class last night.

I could heaar the clinking of glasses and chortlings of delight and laughter from here.
That slippery little mancratwatlad seems to be a good couple of yards slower these days. Glad we didn't sign him now, slithery slimey litle toad.

Like Growler said-we only managed 2 points from 2 games against them last season and no goals scored against them.

Exactly Emp, it was Stoke!!! A side we only got 2 points from in two games last season and everyone was whinging that we need players to break them down!! We have Johnson who did that and Benayoun who tore them a new hole.....We broke them down just like everyone wanted us to and put 4 past them!!!! Forgive me if I'm wrong but that's progress, even if it was Stoke!!! I'm not talking about the entire season becasue it is a long season but it's a better result so far than what we've had last season!
