Next transfer window

The next transfer window should see some changes with us bringing in a couple new players and sorting out the players that are out on loan.We only spent 2 million this window so should have about 20-30 million to spend plus what ever we can get for players on loan.

Im sure the King will want to freshen the squad and get rid of players out on loan and off the wage bill.

Players on loan:
Aqualani-Juventus are wanting to lower the agreed transfer amount, would LFC take the lower transfer price or bring him back.
Konchesky-Fulham may want to take him back, doesnt look like he has a future with the reds.
Insua is attracting interest from Italy-may have to lower his wage demands.
El Zhar-not sure where he is loan at the moment.

Do you think Draby and Mavinga have futures at the club?
Not sure if Jovanovich will get a look in otherwise he will be sold.He hasn't had much games so maybe he will get another season.

we should have around 40 odd million to spend if we sell some of the loaned players on top of the owners transfer budget.
We need wingers with pace and another left or right back to have competition for places.

Things are looking a lot brighter for the reds and we still have some descent young players coming through-Eccleston-Amoo-Pacheco etc.

what 3 or 4 players would you like to see brought in?

I agree. When you look at the deals we were trying to do before the Torres thing happened, we were looking at Suarez, Adam and strong rumours regarding Ashley Young - you have to say we were trying to spend around £40m in January. But in the end with Torres going and with Babel leaving - we in the end had a net spend of only £2m. The rhetoric from Kenny is that we'll be looking to enhance the squad in the summer and that the owners were disapointed we didn't spend more in January. I think the January pot will be rolled over by the owners into the summer pot - I expect us to spend big, around £60m, maybe more. I think Fenway want to make a statement and have us fighting for the league next season. If we retain Kenny and spend money on the right players I fully expect a title challenge next season.

richards, cissohko,

turan, young, plus adam

whats peoples thoughts in levezzi... he's been linked as a summer target from Napoli, good player, so is cavanni tho.

Both good players but no need for strikers we have Carroll Suarez and kuyt ngog and a few youngsters we need some pace in the side with wingers a priority and a lb let some young lads have a chance up top as backup.

aqualani, jovanovic, el zahr, poulsen, konchesky, insua, degen

that has to be near or just over the £20m mark but you could possibly add to that list depending on who we are looking at bringing in

kyriagkos, cole, maxi, spearing, aurelio, n'gog

possibly more. for the likes of darby and mavinga they are still young but need experience. loaning them out would be good. but also giving the youngsters a chance to provide some back up would be a good idea too. that would allow us to bring in the quality players we need and still provide some depth in the squad and possibly reduce the wage bill slightly.

we could do with better options at LB and on the wings. possibly a CM and CB too. but who knows, johnson and kelly can both operate at LB so maybe we will look for a RB

if it was me i would make coentrao our number 1 target. can play left back and left wing so he would be an excellent addition.

on the wing i'd op for ashley young or arda. would give us pace and trickery

if we were to bring in a CM it would depend what we were looking for. its obvious we were in the market for charlie adam so if we are looking for a good passer of the ball i'd go with him or banega or possibly steven defour. if we were looking for a more advanced attacking player and considering playing gerrard deeper i'd go with eriksen who was really impressive for denmark last night and is ajax's star player now suarez has left.

at CB i'd love to see us bring in someone who could emulate what hyypia brought to the squad. tall and a constant threat in the air. sakho at PSG is a good player but i really like gary cahill too. we need someone who will convert from set plays though.

I hope we get Adam, Young and Coentrao.
Would love Hazzard but think most the big clubs will be in for him.
We need good quality crosses for Carrol when fit, Adam seesm like he can deliver on the corners.
Suarez has about 59 assist with Ajax and works well with bigger strrike partners, cant wait to see our new strike force playing together.
Lets get the 3 points against Wigan and keep the pressure in Spurs and Chelsea.

Looks like Sylvain Morveaux will sign from Rennes at the end of the season, so that will be the 1 winger.Not sure if it's on a bosman free signing.
he has already signed a pre contract.
