I personaly dont think fourth place is an option myself, I reckon the top four are set in stone for the foreseeable myself, we should be looking at overtaking Spurs in the next couple of seasons and becoming fifth best team in the country which is what I think Spurs are.

Has any team this season consistantly played at a level that is head and shoulders above ours which would lead you to believe we are so far away?

Yeah, chelsea at the start of the season were excellent

I think there is a big gap between the top four and ourselves unfortunately, I think this season has been really competative for all the teams but for me I do think United, Arsenal, Chelsea and City are on a totaly different plain from us financialy or playing and squad wise. I think even if you look at Spurs the way they play and the squad depth and first 11 quality we are a good season or two behind them also. I know we have had some good results recently but lets not get too carried away, we are a Club which has been going backwards, The two first halfs we had against Fulham and Stoke recently wereas bad as anything we have seen this season even though we ended up claiming three points, make no mistake we still have our work cut out to gain a Europa league spot this season so lets not get ahead of ourselves, thats all am saying.
