Just wondering if anyone else has thought of this… Michael Owen left for Real Madrid because he wanted to go to a so called bigger club. Liverpool went on to win the European Cup that year…big mistake by Mr. Owen.

Now Mr. Torres has left for the same reason, could Liverpool finally win the league next year? Or at least achieve more than Chelsea. I think this is definite possibility under the new owners and Mr. Dalglish, quite ironic if this happened.

its crossed my mind, was talking to a mate in work about this. lets hope history can repeat itself. and from now til the end of the season we can try to make up as much ground to the top 4 as we possibly can.

Top 4 can be possible, i mean only Arsenal & United can guarantee there places, City is not that big force yet, Spurs are good but they stumble at times, Chelsea are falling apart & i certainly don't think that Torres will have much of an impact there

spurs have one of the easiest run ins until the end of the season imo

Who knows, Maybe we can land the europa this year? Its not such an illustrious trophy but winning something while chelsea don't sure makes some one look behind their shoulders.

I think we have a great chance of winning Europa
