One thing we can do for sure is get behind Andy Carroll - it's obvious his heart is at Newcastle and no shame for him displaying such affection for his boyhood club, but we need to 'show him the love' as some plonker at city once said.

i personally think 6th is all wrapped up now, the teams we are competing against are going to fall away from now until the end of the season.... so i think we should have a real go at the europa league we can win it and it would be a brilliant way to finish a season that started so poorly

5th is the target, 4th would be a great achievement for a team that look dead and buried mid season. It looks immpossible, however if we maintain consistency it could prove other wise

As Shanks said, "Aim for the sky and you'll reach the ceiling. Aim for the ceiling and you'll stay on the floor."

I've just been going through all the remaining fixtures for us and the teams around us. Unfortunately I can't see us getting fourth. Chelsea have the easiest run and I can see them picking up 33pts. I think we will get 28pts. City 24pts and spurs 23pts so I think the table will look like this...

Mancs. ?
Arsenal. ?
Chel. 77
city. 73
Spurs. 67
Liv. 66

if however we beat city and spurs we could be joint 4th but lose out on GD. I've got them down for draws

i try and look at it slightly differently. Chelsea and Spurs have averaged 1.76pts per game and neither seem in form at the moment. Spurs getting late goals and a bit of luck. Chelsea look confused as to how to play, even more so with Torres now.

so Chelsea/Spurs 1.76 points per game =67points.
LFC under Kenny 2.17points per game=64points

Therefore i expect us to drop just short, That said it is very close. Certainly beating Manu,Spurs and getting something at Arsenal is crtical for us. Not as far away as it seems.
