Just been studying the table and I think if we could beat Chelsea we've got a shot. They seem to be hitting form again but a loss could cause them to have another wobble. I also wouldn't be a bit suprised if there is some friction between their front men. Let's face it, Torres, Drogba and Anelka have all thrown there wobblies from time to time, it could cause problems when one of them loses their place. I really can't see Torres displacing Drogba even though he has been sketchy this season. That means he's going to be running gown the flanks, and we all know too well Torres doesn't like passing the ball. I think he will be a flop in that position to be honest.

Spurs scraped a win tonight but they aren't playing well. The same goes for city who dropped two points again tonight.

It's a long shot, but with a win against the chavs and a good run of results we could be right back up there. Afterall our squad are only going to get stronger as the season progresses

It's not out of reach of at all. If we beat Chelsea this weekend then the possibility will definately be there but if we lose then I can't see us making up the points difference given what they've purchased and the current increase performance from them.

A lot depends on this result for the remainder of the season.

I think fifth should be our realistic goal, but fourth would be real sweet.

The quick answer is NO. Athletico Madrid were 12th? when they won the Europa league last season and did not get promited to championsleague, They are on europe with us.

Can we get 4th? Highly unlikely but a run of form like the one we are on could make us dream a bit. I was worrying about not getting results against stokes, fulhams etc but since Kenny came in, that story seems to be a bit better. I don't mind if we don't get the desired result against chelsea or arsenal but against those lower teams we should be getting a good winning streak out of them and pick it up form there. I hope carrol and suarez have a good partnership, they are the key for us getting 4th or close to that.
