i just dont understand why you are so hell bent on not letting torres take any blame, when everything seems to point towards him. he's a sulky bastrd who thinks chelsea are a better team. that doesnt bother you? henry isnt here that long. he is not a sugar daddy, but what he did do was bring in two highly rated strikers and offload one judas. he also was in for a defender and a midfield player, but refused to pay over the odds. the man hasnt put a foot wrong, so i dont know what your problem is, the only reason you have come up with for hating the guy is because he is american.
Luis Garcia, He drinks sangria He came from Barca, to bring us Joy He's five foot seven, he's football heaven please don't take my Luis away.

Rafa to blame for xabi going, he wanted to replace him with Barry, wat a fcuking joke.
mash went because he cud see the writing on the wall regarding where LFC were heading in terms of winning trophies and not signing top quality players.
henry, comolli, is to blame for not keeping their promises to torres, about signing class players to improve the starting 11, squad.
also they told torres to leave LFC so they can re-invest in the squad, they needed the dosh to sign suarez, they r a bunch of wyankers, not to be trusted
Two things here, show me a source for these promises please, and secondly we as a club do not bow to any players demands like the mancs did with rooney, how embarrasing that would be.

masch moved for family reasons (his wife wanted the sunshine & a better lifestyle, oh and where everyone spoke the same lingo).
Even if Torres was sold its not cos Fenway needed the money otherwise they wouldnt of reinvested it the squad immediately.

For me it's in the main H & G fault. The club revenue's were being used to pay interest on debts and this stopped us buying the top end players and we ended up with a lot of £4-£6m buys who were second rate. Rafa really didn't help himself over Alonso - which I just can't forgive and never will. He also upset Benny, Riera and sold Crouch, Keane and Bellamy which didn't help the cause either when we got left with just N'gog as back up.
I think NESV have been brilliant since they came in and I think we'll be back in the top 4 of the premiership this time next year and challenging for the title this time two years. I think this because I think Kenny has the hunger and I Henry and Werner will invest massively in the team this summer and the next window after that. For me the future is very positive - we're on our way back.

I don't believe that a player has the right to demand anything of his club, outside looking after him financially and physically, that is. If he wants glory then he needs to help the club get it. If he wants glory but understands that his club can't get it (football is a team sport, after all), then he must either swallow his ambition and wear the shirt with pride or move to another club. There really isn't anything more to it than that. This. The modern day footballer believes his own hype and then wants instant success. My god if players of the past had this attitude we would have missed out on seeing some great players playing at numerous clubs. The way things are going anyone who is branded "class" will end up at the same four clubs warming the bench.

Yes you wonder why Kenny's arrival wasn't enough to keep Torres there. Rumours were that Chelsea tapped him up but hard to prove.

Evidently its too early to say they could be massive for us the 2 strikers but its a risk I think we paid double what carrol is 'worth' but it could become a partnership that spreads fear throught the premiership, noone can tell, for the premiership we need a player like carool, of course we need a winger and/or midfield maestro now, but what we got is a big improvement on ngog and er ngog

It all started going downhill since Kenny left the first time. Its easy to blame Rafa and H&G but it was Moores who is responsible for this mess along with that plonker Parry. We should have had a new stadium 20 years ago. Ever since Peter Robinson left the management side of this club has gone downhill. I cannot remember Liverpool negotiating for days to get a player as players wanted to come and play for this club.

No we haven't failed to match our top players ambitions. These guys are paid vast sums, if they want to win something pull yer finger out, up your game, take responsibilty yourself, set an example, put a shift in, break a sweat.
Alonso left (with a bit of respect) but he has won nothing since leaving.
Mascherano left (lying b#stard) and is going to win the spanish title and Cl medal this year by making a minimum number of appearances from the bench - how can he feel like he's earned this??!! WTF
Torres has been a lazy b3stard since last december, more goals from him after xmas would have seen us qualify for the CL this year. Hopefully he will win nothing with the chav scum. Did his spanish teammates complain after winning the WC last year that they were carrying him BIG TIME through the whole of the tournament, did he offer to give back his medal ? No!?
Torres and Mascherano, if you want trophies that way and that badly their on ebay starting at £99-00.

flames, how long did it take comolli to do the suarez deal, wen the bent deal was dun in a couple of days. comolli offer of 12.5m was a stalling exercise, so the torres deal cud be agreed, behind closed doors and it is very very strange, that on the same day suarez deal was announced, torres asked for a transfer.
suarez done cud only be dun, if torres wud move, be sold, cuzz henry needed the dosh from the sale of torres, to sign saurez. saurez cud not be signed earlier in Jan 2011, cuzz henry did not have the funds, to buy him. the reason Torres handed it in that day was because it was the day Chelsea offered us £35 million it coincided with the Suarez deal being agreed. Watch the interview with Holloway where he explains its the way business is done in the transfer market saying originally they only offered £100,000 for DJ Cambell who eventually cost £1 million, first you go in with a low bid and slowly find some middle ground. Chelsea and Villa go in with ridiculously high bids like us and Carroll which require only a little wiggle room and are sorted asap. I think H&G bear a huge brunt of blame to the reason we ended up with such a fragile squad, huge wages but very little talent. I also think Benitez had run his course at Liverpool and the team had stagnated and began going backward it was time to give him the chance to reset the whole squad or give the opportunity to someone else. I think very little can be landed on Roy, wrong time and team I feel Roy's management style(much like Sam Allardyce) is suited to a small club mentality aiming for mid table push for Europa.
