I wouldnt of burnt the shirt personally, I can understand the anger, I feel it me self. Im discusted with Torres and what he's done, but at the end of the day that shirt means a lot of things to alot of people, take your anger out on something else.

If you're trying not to appear petty and pathetic toward Torres, well, you're going about it the wrong way. All you are doing is justifying his dissatisfaction with the club, telling him (and the entire f*cking world) he made the right decision to join Chelsea. Is that what you classify as revenge? If it is you're an idiot of elephantine proportions.
The way you show this guy that he has no class is by preventing him getting the medals he chased; every time he has a shot at goal someone is in the way, someone is blocking his channel, someone is outscoring him at the other end, and more importantly Liverpool is finishing above Chelsea on the table, knocking them out of the cups (or winning them instead). THAT is revenge. He gave up honour for glory, and now you take his glory away from him, show him he could have had both had he not left, but now he's left with nothing. Not only do we steal his victory, we are also shown to be the better man, taking his best shot on the chin but getting on with the game. Not breaking his leg: allowing him to put all his effort into winning, but losing anyway. THAT is revenge.
There is a saying in China: "A gentleman will wait ten years for revenge". Burning his shirt, making up pathetic songs that do nothing other than slander his choice or his name: these are not things gentlemen do. You say "grow a pair": I say "grow the hell up, you miserable and pathetic rabble". Growing a pair requires courage, and you are displaying none.

Excellent peace Thundyr. There is no place at LFC for burning Torres's jersey. Childish behaviour. He gave us 4 good years, some fantastic goals. LFC turned him from an OK striker into the top 3 in the world.
LFC will succeed under the normal way of Honesty, Self-Belief, Dedication, Level Headidness, Courage, Spirit. Daglish stands for all of this and the players will and should do the same. No longer will the club accept mediocricy, below par performances. We need to move on and push on. Get behind the likes of Kelly, Carragher, Reina, Gerard, Suarez, Carroll, Kuyt et al. Keep the unity and stop the moaning. Move on. Beat Stoke. Get 45 to 60 minutes for Surez and Carragher. Re-group. Head to the bridge on Sunday. Whether you are at the game or watching at home or with your friends. STICK your jersey on. Get behind the team. We have got to see this as a huge step forward. Be positive. And most importantly,
LETS BEAT CHELSEA on Sunday - Put it up to them. Show them we have more heart, commitment, will to win, fight, harry, force the errors.
Chelsea may have the most money to spend but they do have the history, commitment or willingness to win.
We won the European cup 5 times. We are Liverpool and by jaysus we never give up. Gerard - WE need a big game and I know you will deliver.

Serious question my shirt (paid £60 for it) has Torres on back. How do you get it off do you just peel it off or is shirt a write off?
