Anybody think the new owners were very clever and new they were selling torres all along? made us think they were spending 22m on suarez when in actual fact we were going to break even by the end of the window. would explain why no charlie adam and no replacement left back. fans all think owners are ready to splash the cash but as yet no evidence of this. made torres hand in transfer request to make him the vilain as they were happy to take 50 m for an injury prone 27 year old. thoughts?

ps most confused as to why konchesky went on loan when no replacement lined up

no. With Torres handing in his transfer request when he did, it meant all our attention was on securing another striker aswell as concluding the suarez deal.

do you seriously believe torres was forced out so we can get Carroll for £35m. This isnt against Carroll, but if we wanted him we could of waited until the summer and got a better deal.

We tried to get young, adam and Richards too.

If they had gone through we would have spent another £40m

welly...take it this way lad...i have said that earlier as well

-they got the club debt free so could have put the whole 50m in their pocket or reserve for stadium or somethin

-a very mediocre player to replace torres or go with youth as season is already written off

-instead bought two players

-we pushed max we cud for adam

cant question them i think....plus we wont ever be happy,,,wen we bought nothing it was still bad and now we have actually done some good business still we are whinning..thats why we r being laughed at...
