Son I'm entitled to my opinion. Torres had three or four decent games after he was MIA for the first part of the season. He has to fit in with some huge ego's at Chelsea who is to say that he will be a success. Abromovich is ruthless so for his sake I hope he performs.
Sure gramps, though I'm unsure what your beef with my post is. Point about Torres starting is that they will almost certainly feel they can beat us at home without risking having him injured. You honestly think Carra isn't going to put the boot in?
If Carroll was injured how did he pass his medical. We don't know all we or at least I know is what I get of the web. FFS be a little bit more positive. I don't have a crystal ball but we are more attacking under Dalglish. I doubt he would have two players in for 50 Million pounds if he didn't intend on playing them. Kenny Daglish is not Benitez.
Carroll doesn't need to be fit now to pass a medical exam, provided any injury he is carrying is not a serious/long term one. He was supposed to be fit enough to train today at Newcastle (ie not currently injured) but I'm sure you understand that it takes a bit of time to get back up to speed after spending weeks on one's bum with a thigh injury. You certainly can't get off the treatment table and go play 90 minutes in the EPL that afternoon.
*ahem* I must not have been watching us score 77 goals in the EPL under Rafa. I guess I was dreaming when we scored 3 or more in 6 consecutive games, a streak which included games against Man U and Real Madrid. Your random jibe against Benitez is pathetic, and as usual not based on reality.
And Chelsea hasn't been playing that well over the last few weeks. So who is to say that we will loose. A couple of years back we ended their unbeaten run at the bridge.
And then we lost home and away the next season. What was your point? Oh, you had none.
You must have forgotten that football is played by teams of players who spend a lot of time working together; go ask Manchester City how long it takes to gel as a team. Since we have no lone striker in the squad outside N'Gog, we will most likely play 4-4-2 (which we've not done under Kenny yet) with a striker partnership less than a week old when we face Chelsea at the bridge. Winning is not an impossible task, but I think we will do well to score as many as them, especially given that Carra is just back from injury and Johnson is not a natural left back. I know Hodgson's not at the helm anymore, and I know we will be up for the game regardless of who plays, but you might want to look at our away record this season before deciding we're going to go win at the Bridge for only the second time in 5 or 6 seasons.
I support Liverpool FC not Fernando Torres FC! Fvck him if he plays fvck him if he doesn't. I couldn't be bothered.
If you're not bothered, then why did you bring this up? Who said I supported Torres more than LFC?
