its just the way some people express their disatisfaction at how torres turned his back on the club. if you bought the jersey its your choice to burn it. its not aimed at the club, its aimed at torres, that is clear so its not disrespectful to the club.

yep, i agree, had a similar discussion on my facebook with someone, its there shirt they bought it, they chose to get torres on the back, and its there right to do what they want with it, wether thats burning it or throwing it away.
people are angry, and to say how they should vent there anger is idiotic. people are different to eachother

Whether this is true or not, but someone has told me that he was there last night and Sky were handing out Torres shirts to the scallys who burnt them, they would do anything for a story.
I think it is disgusting that they would burn the shirt. Like Kenny said: "It may have Torres' name on the back, but it has the Liverpool Crest on the front"
There is a catalonian restuarnt in the liverpool city centre offering a free bottle of wine for your torres shirt, and tonight when they have a load of them they will burn them

look, this is not people throwing bricks at his house or sending him death threats. its burning a jersey that they bought themselves. they are never going to wear it again, they dont want to keep it, they're hurt about what torres has done so they want to express themselves.

I would feel better if we all just forgot about him now as he was "just another player",he had the opportunity to be a LFC legend but its gone now,and we have an exciting future to look forward to without him IMO.
