Am gutted he has left and i think Chelsea will have the best striker in the league next season for these reasons:
- Torres has not had a break from football since the summer of 2007, and what happened after that break scores a plenty in the 2007-08 season
- Then has the euro championships with spain they go all the way, he plays every game, scores the winner in the final.
- Plays and has niggling injuries throughout the whole of the 2008-09 season
- Then the confederations cup comes around, spain get to the semi's, torres play all games, whilst not being fit enough.
- Comes back to us for the 2009/10 season, injured, gets almost fit we play him, gets injured again. picks up an injury in the march or april.
- Then Spain for some stupid reason take him to the world cup in the summer of 2010 whilst injured. They go all the way, he plays a bit part throughout, and picks up another injury in the final.
- Comes back to us injured and struggles on for a little while for us.
All this time we have not purchased a backup striker, so when ever he was 80% fit he was in the team.
Now he has to go to Chelsea were they will get the best out of him next season due to him having the rest he needs.
He could of had a legendary status here at Anfield, now he is just one of them players who hung around for a few years.

Would you say, "Thanks for the good times" to people who are burning your shirt and making sick jokes about your wife? Uh, hello? Is that reality calling? The behaviour of liverpool fans has allowed him to leave with no regrets whatsoever, so set aside your petty hatred; he really doesn't care about you anymore. no not really ..... this hardcore bunch of assh oles who appointed themselves the voice of the fans need to [oops] off. would this be the SOS showers of knackers? I didn't realise they'd insulted his wife too although i had heard his shirt had been burned .... anyway we may have lost the best striker abbout but we've got a better team now

I don't think he will ever be as good as when we first signed him as his pace seems to be escaping him. Still a top draw player though. I'll miss him

He is injury prone, throws tantrums at the ref at the slightest little bump, and sometimes downright surly. Anyway thank you Nando for the goals you scored for us (some were magnficent), but it was out of order for you to state publicly ...."glad to join a top club", stuff you mate for that.

I'd pick Higuain ahead of him too but he is world class without question, he will be missed

YNWA I'm sure that jibe will only serve to inspire our club .... he didn't fare too well paying for a big country in the world cup, he was a fcuking embarrassement ... so he may have to eat very nhumble pie yet
