NESV I owe you an appology. I doubted your dedication to our cause and I was wrong. We didn't outlay that much but it wasn't for lack of trying. If we hadn't been betrayed by our fallen hero thinks would have probably been very different.

I will be honest and say I'm gutted that Torres has left. I'm not bitter, I'm not gonna fill this post with loads of abuse about him. I'm more dissapointed. I'm dissapointed in his lies and false promises. I can honestly say I believed he was going to be an LFC player for a long time to come. Even with the barrage of speculation on Friday, I just thought "here we go again"

How wrong I was.....

In a way I feel sorry for him. He deserved to be classed as a Liverpool legend, but after what he's done he's never going to be talked about for years to come. He's just going to be a meaningless statistic in Liverpools past. I've rarely seen a player with so much natural abillity! He really should be so much more!

But enough of the past and onto the future. we've signed two great players in Suarez and Carroll. Suarez has been prolific for Ajax for 3 seasons and has also topped their assist charts. He brings trickery and technical ability two a team who is serverly lacking in it. He doesn't have great pace, but neither does Nasri or Berbatov but they are still top class attacking players.

Onto Carroll. If anyone asked me who I'd like us to sign after the Suarez deal, this guy would be my choice. I think it would have been too risky to bring in another foreign player with no EPL experience. I think the contrast between him and Suarez will cause a great partnership to flourish. Carroll has power and height, he bullies all but the biggest defenders. He has a viscious left boot and he's one of the best players you will ever see in the air. I agree he was exspensive, but we have torres, who trapped us between a rock and a hard place to thank for that.

I for one, am looking forward to good times ahead.......

At least we are building. Whilst I wanted to see a CB, LB and a winger come in I also felt it was of the utmost importance to sign cover for Torres. When he handed is tranfer request in I dreaded going into the second half of the season with just one recognised striker.I cannot beleive the size of the Carroll transfer fee but on reflection compare this to what City have paid for Dzeko (unproven in the PL) and Balotelli (again unproven in the PL until this season) then it doesn't seem so bad.
People will hark on about "World Class" but the fact is you don't need world class to be successful in this league, you just need players who can consistently perform and strikers who score regularly. Is Bent world class? Is he hell, but he is PL class and that's all is needed.

I too wish to give my thanks to NESV. Although we all agree that Jan is the worst time for transfers- they were put into an impossible situation because of a certain player. However since the end of last year, we have seen a fantastic developing player in Kelly, a flourishing Meireles, swapped Babel and Torres for Suarez and Carroll, and sent Konchesky off for some training! Further more we have Carra coming back!!! I for one am feeling fresh and optimistic!

Given the short transfer notice, NESV has proven their intent of buying the club which was in turmoil in regards to H&G saga and purchasing Suarez and Carroll. Its not their fault that Torres left. I am very sure and confident that they will invest heavily in the summer to strengthen the squad. Liverpool is a big club with rich history to brag about and with that, we need calibre players with footballing brains to go foward. This season is full of [oops] and everyone in the reds corner see that. All we need to do now is to stand tall, stand proud and be positive of whatever the score be in the next few months. All i can do is to pray for the club success and strive for excellent to be the club that we once were. All i can say is thank you for the backing NESV and to any Judas in the Liverpool squad, now that Torres has lead the way, please show yourself and [oops] off during the next transfer window. We supporters dont need you and to spend and cheer you week in week out chanting and singing your name, is the lowest thing in history of mankind. Enough said, bring on Stoke and start doing what we suppose to do. WIN!

FSG have done exactly what they said they would, invest in youth and the future is becoming more and more bright every day with them in charge.
Long may it continue and bring us home the Title in 2011/2012.

Thanks FSG.

Agree completely. We are a force in the transfer market once again, buying the best players available rather than PFK and Poulsen. Huge thanks go out to NESV tonight for getting these deals done on absurdly short notice (thanks for that, Nando). The rest of the season should be interesting, to say the least.

i dont know if im the only 1 but with the shock of torres transfer request overshadowing suarez fee agreement today it has equalled out coz the [oops] has gone and suarez and i wasnt expecting us to get carroll but we did and i think he could be a haldful for defenses so i think a good buy even tho 35 million is pretty steep for most players

[oops] off henry u tight fcuker.

how much did you put in or spend on the new signings??....[oops] ALL.

that is fcuking ambition from our tight owner henry.

he has let KD use the torres, babel money, to sign suarez, carroll, [oops] u henry.

If u had any bllx, and wanted to be taken very very seriously in the transfer market, by the fans, other clubs, you wud of released at least 30m from ur own pocket, to add the the money from the torres, babel sale, so KD cud of signed ie Young 18/20m, adam 8/10m.

where is the so-called 30m kitty, u said was available for KD, in the transfer window??. its fcuking sitting in ur swiss account, u tight fcuker, u might have pulled a fast one over the daft fans, but not the real fans.
just [oops] off, in the summer and sell the club, who can really take it forward.

henry u tight, useless fcuker.

oh by the way, if he does not sell the club, in the summer, his next job will be to sell reina, 20m and let KD buy players with it.

I don't blame torres for leaving and reina in the summer, these players r winners, henry is just a businessman, making money from LFC.
