I agree he's a major risk...£10 premium for just being english and another £5 cause the clubs know we have money from torres sale plus has got disciplinary issues just like benzema...but has got potential maybe Kenny feels he can mold him.

Carroll is a totally different player to crouch as he can actually hold the ball up and play football he's a big strong lad but is very technically sound aswell and he isn't slow for a big guy he will immense for us if we can get him.

Wow and I thought we would be sensible with our money.. £30million is crazy money for Andy Carroll.. He has had 5 good months no doubt but its about twice as much as he is worth.

Would be a crazy signing for that amount.. Though we would be able to improve the squad big time with the 50mill for Nando but I doubt it now we are going to spend the majority of it on an unproven talent with loads of off the field issues..

And people thought Bent was overpriced at 23mill. LOL
