of course we can. we got loads of money if torres goes and if we dont get carroll (i hope we dont) then there are a few options out there. the problem we have is if we get another foreign centre forward then it may not work! Can take a good season to get the feel of the PL so it is a big gamble. maybe thats why we are bidding so much for Carroll? A proven centre forward? what other forwrads in the PL could come to Liverpool?

There is no one else in the PL. We need a "classy" centre forward. 50M for Torres is great business. There is now way Carroll is 30M. If Carroll is 30M then Torres should be 60M.

Reckon thats why they are looking at Carroll. Strong, good in the air, knows the PL, will get stuck in.
