There are three parties involved 1) The club who wishes to buy the player, 2) The club which owns the player and 3) The player (and their army of agents). My point is just because you want a player it doesn't mean the club he plays for wants to sell, or indeed the player may not want to come. January is a strange transfer window as clubs are not willing to let players go unless it is for crazy money ala Suarez.
