i always wondered if agger could play in midfield,he can pass the ball well and move up and join in attack as swell.of cos it might not happen,but its just my opinion.he could be a good midfielder.

so what can we do about it if he leaves,we cant do anything.

I was so looking forward to a Torres/Suarez partnership. However, if that does not happen, does anyone see SG up front with Suarez. We have Raul in CM and there are other players who can play in the holding pattern. Why waste his talent there. Both can score out of the box, I think they will complement each other pretty well. Thoughts?

Agger needs to be in defence. We lack decent defenders as is.

I agree, we can't afford to put him in midfield, although i do think he would be great in a DM position.

It might work, some defenders do that role in the epl but as sahi stated, we are weak at the back as it is, unless carra comes back no point moving agger forward.

He has the skills no doubt, but he's probably played as a defender his whole career. So he's had all that time to learn and mprove himself in that position.

Off the ball he may struggle with positional side of the game in DM
