but what conclusion to draw from that? that is interesting though my first reacion was he got lazy cos he's off but it could also be due to the fact that hodgson wanted him to make runs into no mans land and its taken a bit of time for him to change to kennys tactics. Players like him only run when there is a sniff of a goal (which is why they are frustrating when things dont go well). Maybe kenny is using him more wisely who knows but interesting stat that

We've survuived without him many times in the past, and we'll shine again without him, no problem.
A team does NOT consist and revolve around one player.

Must be due for another injury soon now anyway. He's strung together more than 4 matches iirc. Nearly a record for him, fragile little twerp.
Nice one Growls and tbh i was alot more concerened when Rushy left us.

That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.

Got to be positive though matey. It's absolutely and totally out of our hands.
It's never nice to see a top player leaving, but we move on, and things are moving on.
I was shocked like evryone else initially, but it's NOT the end of the werld.
I was INITIALLY convinced when that rat lad slime bag owen binned us and stabbed the club and fans in the back, that absolutely adored him...me included blush....in 2004, that we'd struggle.

The following season without him is now wonderful history! grin

We get that anyway, unfortunately.

Like Owen, Torres leaving might just give us that same push if I can call it that. We might not win the Champs League but what about the League stranger things has happened.

Well I don't see ANY other team in the prem. romping away from the rest of the pack this season.
All the 'top' clubs have been mediocre at best, so with a bit of team and morale building, who knows? Next year could finally be THE year p'raps. wink
