I've just had a peek at some Chelsea forums and they don't seem keen on signing Torres at all. Especially for 50 mill.
This is all about a billionaire's latest toy. They are all up in arms about the way the club is being run. And we think we've had problems. Well if Torres chooses to join them then good luck to him. Out of the frying pan and into the fire.
Every club has some sensible fans and the ones at Chelsea probably realise, that they have players past their best all around the team and that improving their strike force is not the priority! Only a few weeks back they were in a run of 1 win in 9. As I've said in my last few posts, Torres is being very badly advised. He'd be better off going to Spurs or Man City. Time will tell, but if he goes through with this, I think he'll look back when he's retired and think this was the worst decision he ever made. He'll never win the Champs league with Chelsea as Barcelona would murder them and though it pains me to say it Utd, Arsenal, City and Spurs are all better than them - so I don't see Chelsea winning the title in the next 5 years either. With Kenny at the helm and 2/3 more quality signings, either in this window or the summer, we'll be going past Chelsea as well. Wake up and smell the coffee, Fernando!
