He is a great player but if he doesn't want to play for LFC then lets cash in on him. However I would like him to stay as he is a quality striker. I don't think we should assume anything until Kop Talk or the club says anything. Kop Talk has been spot on so far this transfer window, according to Kop talk he is meeting King Kenny tomorrow and thats all I'm hoping is that there is a positive outcome to this and Torres stays.

Anelka is 31 ... Not much of a long-term investment in the squad.. I say hold onto Torres 'til summer,
Start a bidding war,
Get some mad price for him (>65m),
And go on a spending spree - 4 or 5 top QUALITY players (Turan, Aguero, Hazzard, etc, etc).

I cant see the point in gettin Anelka meself gd player but he's gettin on a bit. The club has to be strong and tell Chelski to f*ck off untill the summer.
