Thunder you can say what you like about attitude etc and you may have a point but talentless never he is one of the best srtikers I have ever seen would put fowler at his best to be greater but only just. And he may have an attutude issue but as far as I am aware he is not in town regularly on the raz like some great LFC strikers whose career went down the pan because of that reason. So which is the worse one ? You're not good at sarcasm, are you? The fact that my first and second paragraphs convey a completely different picture means I was agreeing with faz? Uh, no. FAO everyone who failed to understand my previous post: Torres would undoubtedly have brought glory to this club via his scoring ability and amazing strike rate at Anfield had he arrived at a club willing to invest heavily in the squad and with a manager looking to build a team that could compete for the title and CL year after year. For me he remains the best striker to have signed for LFC in the last two decades outside Fowler, and that's some fine company right there. Unfortunately we walked into a club that got sold to money-grabbing [oops] who then sacked the best manager we'd had since Dalglish and who hired a spineless puppet who couldn't work out which end of the pitch to play football in. During this time Torres became disillusioned with a lack of progress or ambition at the highest level of the club, and fell out with the player clique that decides who goes and who stays, even to the point of preferred manager. I am gutted that he has realized this is no longer his place, and am just as certain that putting that transfer request in was the last thing he wanted to do; regardless of what a man says, circumstances around him change and may change enough to make his words appear to have been lies. I feel just like I did at this stage last season; everyone wanted Rafa gone without realizing what they had, and I feel our downfall is only about to begin. In the stock trade you only recover after the second dip, and maybe this is it. I'm not saying we won't replace him with an effective player, nor that we won't get up there (4th) in the future, but I'm starting to think we won't get out of the pit we're in until the foreign players signed by Rafa, Gerrard, and Carragher are all no longer at the club. Only then will we really have the clean slate we need to work with. Too many promises, insufficient delivery. As a business LFC has failed, and we're seeing the fallout now, fallout that almost definitely will continue until the summer unless we somehow win the Europa Cup and get a CL place.

im not having all this dont blame poor torres cos hes had broken promises! theres no guarantees in footie! we all want CL we all want trophies we all want concrete promises, but we cant have everything we want can we no club can!he was injured but still took the money he was sh*te on the pitch but still took the money he sulked and couldnt be assed getting his finger out and now we see he couldnt even be bothered to tell the truth but told lies instead thats the biggest let down here ,we knew he was going soon but he only had to wait 4 months.we played bad yes, but he was part of that bad play not a victim, the fans are the victims!players attitude stinks and sometimes im angered as to why i support them, but you see its in my heart but obviously not in the players!thers no excuse at all for torres to go now unless he was told to?

he's been manipulated is my guess, wouldnt be hard to do I think he's a bit of a girly and someone got to him. If he had broken promises well the old board has gone so that is no excuse. By convention you don't leave your employer in the sh1t unless there is a very good reason for it. Leaving 2 d ays before deadline day is leaving your boss in the sh1t, and even if we live in days of player power there is something irregular about the timing of this. IF nesv knew before the suarez bid that torres was going and i think they probably did that still doesnt change much in my view as he's let his team mates down and the fans if he chooses to go, or chooses to sulk for 6 months

It's just yet another example of this little imature girls' petulance. We've seen it on the field of play many times, now he's doing it off the field too! I want want want, and if I don't get my own way, I'm going to cwy and cwy and cwy and throw all my teddies all over the place. F**K RIGHT OFF TORRES< bloody great tarty jessie.
