keep him until the summer it doesnt make sense to sell him now and as we are a big club and we cant give into players and especially cant give into rival clubs stand our ground and maybe him a suarez can light the PL up and he'll stay or we'll get 60-ish million and we can buy some very good players and build a proper team

I’m also not too sure Henry and Co are to be blamed here.
I think it’s the previous regime and Christian Purslow in particular. We all know when it comes to football matters Purslow doesn’t know his elbow from his arse and his biggest goof was giving Roy the job.
Not sure if any of you remember this article, but what did Pruslow say to Torres after Roy left them alone? Did he make promises that he could not deliver on?

The new Liverpool boss met briefly with Torres before flying out to Switzerland to lead a pre-season training camp.

And today he has warned off potential suitors for the World Cup winner.

"I have met with Fernando. I found him to be a very pleasant man and we had a nice conversation," Hodgson told reporters in Bad Ragaz.

"As far as we are concerned he is a Liverpool player and we want him to remain a Liverpool player. He is not for sale and we don't welcome any offers for him.

"We want to keep him. My conversation with him was only short because I had to leave to come to the training camp in Switzerland. We spoke about football, the World Cup, his injury, and I told him how much I am looking forward to working with him.

"Christian Purslow was also at the meeting and chatted to Fernando for a lot longer after I left but my chat with him was only about football matters."

"Sometimes I don’t even understand me"
