If King Kenny were to say say "Get out there and eat them" the only answer should be "Ear nose or throat?". That's what pulling on the red shirt should mean. I've had with the part-timers. Clear them all out. Bring in a left back, center back and another striker and let Pacheco and Suso show us what they're made of. At least they have the desire.

OMG! I honestly Cant believe it! I was one of mr torres' biggest fans on here. I stood up for him through all the criticism but to be hit with that now! Wow! I can truethfully say I am fecking livid! I say £60m or no deal, then when we play them bring on a shat player for the last 10 minutes and tell him to go knee high and two footed on the c@nt! I'll even do it if they want! The judas pr!ck!!!

what will dads tell their children that their favorite player is leaving and moving to chelsea? does he have no respect for fans who have stood by him all season saying he just needs the confidence boost, being a liverpool fan in a school where everyone supports chelsea when we were playing them 4-5 years in a row in the CL is not exactly fun, ive grown up now hating chelsea than any other club including man u and everton and seeing any player leave us to go there makes me angrier than when michael owen signed for manchester this isnt fair on fans who have idolised him since he came

Where are we as a club? Where do we want to go?

We have had two awful years, no investment in the team, no ambition to win anything, new owners... silence... transfer window... all talk...

At this point I want to ask LFC supporters what do you want? Mid table indifference? Even with Kenny the current team is not good enough to win anything, the consequence is that investment in the team is needed...
transfer window... ALL TALK... so far...

As a supporter I've found the past two years frustrating in the extreme but LFC are my team and I am here and will remain here.

However if I'd been employed by someone and been promised- personally- investment in the team, and year after year the club hadn't delivered... even the potential to win trophies ... if I was Torres I'd been completely and utterly [oops] off. As a supporter I am completely and uttely F@+K@D OFF.

I'm sorry reader ARE YOU HAPPY WITH LFC AND THE WAY WE ARE PLAYING????

ARE YOU HAPPY WITH THE LAST TWO YEARS?

Suddenly Fernando complains and we find the money for Suarez... well possibly a real positive for the transfer window that wasnt there 12 hours ago...

seems to me we are about to find out what the new owners want from our club...

Torres asking for a transfer is a good thing, it is going to put all expectations into perspective...

some good points and i do feel we have let torres/ gerrard down in the last two years. if i was torres i wouldnt be too happy abt promises made to me being broken. am still hoping he stays. i beleive he does really like the club but wants to finish his career with some silverwear and liverpool are far from that.

If LFC have any balls Torres won't leave. Same for Fabregas, Rooney etc.

Can you really blame him? Ok, silly question for all those who felt he hasn't been trying all season (@andrex: that you, Reclaim?).

I'm going to play devil's advocate here, cos I'm just as gutted as the rest that he wants out (I think my avatar may give that away), BUT he's been saying for 2 seasons that the club needed to show some ambition. There we are, 28/01/2011, and all we've done is talk up 2 targets without looking like signing either. Is that ambitious? No, it f*cking isn't; it's playing the media game. "Look how hard we tried, but no one wanted to come/everyone overvalued their players". Bullsh*t.

Does no one else think that Torres handed in his transfer request *before* Suarez was signed, or that we suddenly agreed to terms with Ajax (when before we were miles apart) had nothing to do with the sudden threat of Torres leaving? These are not separate events, I promise you. If we assume Torres wanted out before Suarez was bought (very likely, in my opnion) and they immediately publish news on the official site that Torres may be sold, wouldn't that stop Suarez from coming? Torres still wants silverware, and he's not going to get that at LFC, certainly not this season, and probably not next if we continue to conduct transfer business the way we have during this window.

I said it before, unless FSG made a statement of intent during this window we would become primarily a selling club - Torres would leave, Gerrard might (though he's getting on a bit and takers may be hard to find), and if we lose the engine room what then happens to our youth? Kelly, Pacheco, Suso - will we ultimately sell them too? Are we another West Ham in the making? I think FSG have underestimated the minefield they are in, and they need to act with greater intent in future.

Personally I don't believe that Torres would want to win silverware at any club other than LFC by choice. I think he's honest when he says he loves the club, the fans, and the city. But I think he's also honest in that he needs to feel that the club is not a "dabbler", like Atletico is; he signed for us because we were serious about winning sh*t, yet over the last 2 seasons we haven't been serious about anything other than covering our individual arses. FSG's handling of this window and the Hodgson saga leave a lot to be desired, football virgins though they may be. They need to grow the f*ck up and start behaving like men.

We used to have owners only intent on steering us toward the rocks. Now we have owners who don't know how to operate the ship. I still think my tagline says it all.

Disapointed but I see this as an opportunity.

Torres has been lacking fitness and attitude and it has finally come to this. Personally I think he is damaged goods and if someone wants to buy him be my guest. Roman seems desperate to buy him so lets get what we can

At the end of the day the club will move on and I see this as a time for change. We should be looking to get maximum value for him and using the funds to rebuild our team we we have weaknesses

A champion team will always beat a team of champions and I believe with King Kenny and a few reinforcements we can build a team that plays for eachother and the club

In the summer we need new blood and players with hunger for success

LFC for life YNWA
