I don't understand the reason for waiting til summer to sign big names such as suarez. Its not like his price tag will go down by 10m or something. They should sign atleast 2 players or as cp said, we will just crush everything that Dalglish brought back to us.

I think we need to splash out some money because where we finish in the league will be a big factor in the players we can attract in the summer

we need players now but i dont buy that will shape up the future of the club as u r perhaps suggesting,.,.
i dont think so that will be the criteria..need to exhibit that the club is heading in the right direction ...that the club means serious business...if top players can consider new comers like citech n spuds..then whats so shameful about signing for us...come on

It won't guarentee it, there are no guarentees in football, but I'm sure with him in the side we will finish with a higher points tally than without him.
Let's face it at the moment we are one torres injury away from a slide back down the table. We need backup desperately

if u have a manager like kenny and owners to support him then dont think players would refuse us..
theres a difference between us n spuds/citech/chelsea.we dont need a multi multi million signing for every position just to make sure that we keep winning..
we need to buy ...buy right...i agree..

I'm going to get a bashing for this, but I'd quite like to see aqua given another chance, I think he would thrive in attacking football. He has great vision when picking a pass and I think he is technically superb. Our team just didn't suit him but with the way kenny likes to play I think he would be a great asset
